This exhibition is part of a transformative research program called RE-WIRING, funded by the European Union. In addition to the University of Deusto, it is organized in collaboration with other prominent institutions, including the University of Portsmouth (UK), Center for Inclusive Leadership (GB), University of Western Cape (South Africa), University of Utrecht (Netherlands), and University of Gdańsk (Poland).

The exhibition is a journey through almost 80 years of the factory’s history, a place that forms part of the collective imagination of Basque industrial memory. The factory, located in Irún, was looted after its closure due to bankruptcy, and many of the pieces designed and manufactured there are part of the GORDAILUA collection (Center for Heritage Collections of movable goods of Gipuzkoa).
